The next two years were FAR from a walk in the park, I had to learn how to:
– Stop trying to do things on my own and relying on my own strength,
– Accept responsibility for myself
– Forgive myself,
– Love myself in my current season,
– Realize that my struggle with weight was much deeper than just food, and…
– Allow Christ to really transform me from the inside out.
During this journey, I learned that my external weight gain was just a physical representation of my internal (mental, spiritual, and emotional) well-being. This journey allowed me to gain new confidence, motivation, drive, insight, and a renewed view on life and the importance of valuing every aspect of my temple (spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical wellness). I am now DOWN OVER 40 LBS and feel the best I have ever felt! The MAJORITY of the work was mental transformation. I had to get past my myself, the limitations that I acquired and owned, and the excuses I held onto to keep from actually challenging myself for the better. Not every challenge is a bad, you cannot build yourself in areas that you refuse to test. The things that are worth having actually require the most work, the most preparation, and the belief despite conflicting circumstances/reality.

Weightloss. Over 40 LBS Down.
I made the decision to change my life for the better, and while it took a lot from within me, I am so thankful because the risk in that first step was totally worth it. I am making the intentional decision to walk in my purpose and to daily breakdown and demolish any limitation or inadequacy formed to keep me from achieving all that I was created to achieve. Looking back in awe and seeing how my life has come full circle, I want YOU to know that it is possible for YOU TOO! I want to motivate anyone that may be struggling with weight, self-esteem, self-doubt, fear, feelings of inadequacy, or any internal struggle to know that your abilities for today do not have to be dictated by your yesterday (and you do not have to do it alone!!!).
True life transformation originates internally and eventually manifests to be external. God has granted me the courage to now share my story and I pray that it inspires someone to know that it is never too late to make that decision to transform yourself for the better. I invite you to join me on my journey towards TOTAL FITNESS (physical, spiritual, mental, emotional). In life you will continuously experience setbacks, but your life is not defined by where you fall, it is defined by where you stay. Refuse to become complacent, stagnant, and living within your own limitations. We were called to have life and life more abundantly and our testimonies are stepping stones bringing us closer to that abundance reminding us of what we overcame. I pray to be a light in your life and to show you that you too can be an overcomer!
I am entering into a new chapter filled with more lessons, discovery, refinement, establishment & achievement and I am so excited to be able to share it with you. My transformation is still in progress and I plan on reaching new heights like never before. Are YOU down for the journey? LET’S DO IT TOGETHER!
Until next time…continue to Shine Bright & Illuminate Your Life <3
