Blessings do not always come in “feel good” packages. Sometimes they come in the form of a momentary heartache, temporary disappointment, or delayed gratification. However, while these momentary setbacks may not “feel good”, it is important for us to realize that they are divine setups FOR good to take place in our lives. Our feelings are constantly being chaotically tossed and turned dependent on the direction of the wind. So it is pretty easy to say that our feelings are unstable. Unstable ground is not the greatest place to rest our future hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Protect your prized possessions by removing them from your internal world-wind and placing them on solid ground. Solid ground is the truth that you are blessed & highly favored, truth that you were created for a greater purpose far beyond your current situation, and truth that everything is working together for your good.
Sometimes (a lot of times lol) I really have to intentionally remind myself of the blessings of a closed door. Just think… If all of these doors remained open in my life, how much harder would it be for me to walk through the one that was actually made for me? I would be extremely distracted with an extreme headache trying to decipher through all the chaos. Thank you, Lord, for clearing my space, lessening my confusion, and lighting my path one step at a time.
